Rudiments Around The Drums

This book expands the potential use of selected rudiments by showing their employment around the drums. The basic rhythmic pattern of each rudiment, together with a particular sticking, is presented on a single ledger line at the top of each page. The rudiment is then presented in five possible variations around the drums. These variations are notated on a three-line staff; the first line denotes the Small TomTom, the second line the Snare, and the third line the Large TomTom.
